The strongest indication has been the discovery of a will dated 1613 written by Augustine Walker of Great Amwell in Hertfordshire, England. It is often quoted as it lists the daughters of Augustine in the same order of birth that matches with the passengers that boarded the Anne:

19th Feb 1613." - Note*: He Parish Records of Great Amwell show the marriage of Augustine Walker & Mary STRINGER on 27 Jun 1597 in Great Amwell, Hertfordshire, England but there is no baptismal entry for Augustine and some researchers have suggested that he is the same Augustine Walker baptised 22 Feb 1564 in Southam, Warwickshire.Papers in the National Archives relating to the Southam Augustine show him to be a man of considerable wealth.
A tithing book dated 1597 and written by Thomas Hassall sheds some light on the history of the Amwell Walkers and indicates that Augustine Walker, was a man of substance who had property in London and settled in Gt Amwell. He appears to have been a good employer. There are entries regarding servants who were born in Amwell, lived in London and were brought back from London to be buried.
The burial of Austen Walker in 1613 corresponds with Augustine Walker's will of 1613, so often cited as the link between Elizabeth & Richard Warren. Indeed the marriage between the pair is also in this list. Mary, Augustine's wife died shortly after him.
The Tithing book Of Thomas Hassall, 1597
“Beinge thus at the first plunged in deep chardge both in regard of the fees of my institution and induction, these occasions meetinge me at the first encounter, fitting my self with ornaments suitable to my callinge, removing my self and my litle howshold stuff an extor composition which my predecessor ignorantly yeilded unto for glass, doores, artillery and other pretended utensiles, which came to no smale summe, my thought I was like an unskilfull man at sea put into an unrigged vessell without sayles or oares or understanding how to use her; which made me for a whyle as a stranger lodg at a common in at Stansted, afterwards to sojorne in the towne at the house of one Augustin Wallker (beinge one of the churchwardens for that yeare) untill I might take some course to be loged and dyeted in the vicaredge house. To this purpose, I enquired out for a tenent who might farme both my house and gleabe and the tythes also (of the nature and condition wherof I was all together ignorant).” bt 1597 - 1651 at Great Amwell, Hertfordshire, England.
